Deir Yassin: The Agony - Israel/Palestine
NEVER FORGET!
“3 Years have gone since the death and destruction of Operation Cast Lead, when Israel once again showed its true colours and massacred the people of Gaza for 22 days, between 27th December 2008 to January 18th 2009.
3 years on, the Israelis continue with their shameless lies, that the operation was all about stopping home made rockets being fired from Gaza. Yet, they don’t tell you, that the year before the operation started, rocket fire from Gaza was reduced by 97%, as there was a truce between Hamas and Israel. Israel then duly broke the ceasefire on November 4th 2008, in an unprovoked attack killing 6 Hamas members, they then began to severely restrict humanitarian aid coming into Gaza from 123 trucks daily to 16 daily. When Hamas responded, Israel claimed an all out war was now unavoidable, but didn’t mention this war was being planned for some months in advance.”

3 years ago this week, Israel launched an attack on Gaza killing 1,400 Palestinians; 13 Israelis were killed, most were soldiers, 4 from friendly fire. Zionists call it a war, antiracists call it a massacre. And the Siege of Gaza continues to this day.
A decade ago an Afghan war lord took control of thousands of prisoners from US forces. While under the control of General Abdul Rashid Dostum, a US ally, witnesses say thousands suffocated to death after being crammed into metal containers or shot to death on the way to a prison near Sheberghan, Afghanistan. Did the US play a role in the matter? Nathaniel Raymond, former lead investigator for Physicians for Human Rights, visited the site twice and tells us what they found.
“Although the Image that Israel distributes about herself is that of an oppressed nation, it is with heavy hearts that we present these crimes that stand for themselves for the brutality of the Israeli Army and the heartlessness of its soldiers who seem to have a thirst for blood. It is for the hope that the world may see a clearer picture that we present these painful facts. It is interesting to notice that today’s media does not dwell on these crimes as they do on the Holocaust. They are reported in the news for a week or two and then swept into the sea of oblivion. Those who attempt to revive the true history of Israel are charged of being anti-Semitic. So with the hope to keep those memories in mind we present this shameful history of Israel that seems to have found that the role of Goliath is more interesting than that of David.”
